I was born in the Far East, in the city of Khabarovsk, a city detached from modern art. When I was a teenager, I went to the Hermitage and was struck by the huge canvases and statues with nude figures. Having no art in the "environment", I tried to make up for it by watching classic cinema and studying culture on my own. I entered the pedagogical institute of Khabarovsk, but at the 2nd year of study, I broke down and moved to St. Petersburg. Left without means of subsistence, I was offered to try myself as a model (demonstrator of plastic poses). Until that moment I thought that only some status people could be artists' muses. At first I got into the Repin Academy of Arts, and I also started to be invited to private spaces and drawing studios.  The work consisted of posing in a contrapposto pose (standing leaning on one leg). A model for this hard labor receives a rate from 150 to 300 rubles per hour. Gradually I became a member of the community and got acquainted with similar models. At the same time I began to be invited to pose and photographers, the process of photography fascinated me and I began to educate myself and began to try to shoot in parallel two stories about self-portrait and sitters. My working technique is not a camera, but a simple cell phone Samsung Galaxy A30. In my project "Naked" I want to show in what conditions they survive in the cultural capital. Some live alone and some live with their partners. For some of them it is an income (close to volunteering), for others the goal is to remain in the history of art. Personally, it helped me to cope with my complexes and feel more natural.
